During November and December, Salem Seaport Credit Union will be selling candy bars for $2 each at our Lafayette Street location to benefit the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless.

We'll also be sponsoring a Paper Angel Program to support the Salvation Army. We will be decorating the tree in our Lafayette Street branch with paper angel ornaments provided by the Salvation Army, each printed with a child's name, age and the gift they would like to receive. Stop by and pick out one of the ornaments for yourself and help fulfill the holiday dreams of a local child.

Salem Seaport Credit Union is a proud sponsor of the Salem State Vikings and their Think Pink events to help raise money for breast cancer awareness. Many thanks to all of you who have come out for Vikings’ Think Pink events this month and/or who have donated money at our branch!

Of course, this is an ongoing effort, so please continue to support Think Pink events throughout the year. In fact, mark your calendar now for the Women’s Basketball event on February 5, which will kick off all 2013 Think Pink fundraiser events. We’ll keep you posted as other events are announced.
