Renewed Commitment Helps Keep Members “On The Right Course”

With a new brand and a new image, Seaport Credit Union steps it up a notch. “For 85 years, we have been a strong, member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative, able to offer our members lower rates on loans, fee-free services, and higher yields on savings,” says Patricia A. Warren, President and CEO of Seaport Credit Union. “Now, with a beautiful new brand and a renewed commitment, we’re working on making a good thing even better.” The new brand includes the addition of the word “Salem” to the name so it more strongly connects with the community, and a newly designed logo that captures the power, competitiveness and maneuverability of many of the sailboats found in area waters. A new tagline, On the right course, ties in to the nautical theme while capturing Salem Seaport Credit Union’s dedication to providing progressive products, services and guidance so members who live, work or go to school in Essex County can achieve their financial goals.

Salem Seaport Credit Union’s new brand will also work to enhance the membership experience. A thoughtfully redesigned branch will allow members to easily get in and get out, or invite them to relax and be comfortable while they’re conducting their financial business. A new, cutting-edge comprehensive website will offer members information, inspiration and innovative financial tools. Members will also enjoy streamlined convenience products, as well as new benefits that include Latitude 43, a loyalty program that works hard to show members how much they’re appreciated. Incorporated in 1926 by the French Canadian founders of St. Anne’s and St. Joseph’s parishes in Salem, Massachusetts, Salem Seaport Credit Union’s philosophy has always been to offer the most advanced technologies, systems and access for members without the burden of excess fees. Members are the cornerstone upon which the credit union continues to build a solid financial institution, providing the communities it serves with an alternative to the “big banking institutions” on the North Shore.
