Who can join?

Membership in Salem Seaport is open to all who live or work in Essex County. Attending a college located in Essex County is considered residence. Join now.

What is needed to become a member?

You’ll need to have proper identification, which includes:

  1. Name
  2. Date of birth
  3. Residence address and mailing address (if different, a utility bill is needed)
  4. US Government-Issued Identification (ID) (i.e. Mass. Driver’s License, US Passport)

How to join

Online:
Complete a membership application and deposit $25.00 in a Share Savings Account with us. The $25.00 savings account is your share in Salem Seaport and must remain on deposit while you are a member.

In Person:
Visit us at our main branch office and meet with a friendly Member Service Representative.
